Product Introduction
Sintered Porous Filter Elements are precision-engineered metallic filtration components developed for demanding industrial environments where reliability, structural stability, and long service life are essential. These elements are manufactured from stainless steel woven wire mesh or stainless steel fiber felt, assembled in multiple layers and permanently bonded through vacuum sintering technology.
During the vacuum sintering process, individual metal layers are metallurgically fused into a single porous body. This eliminates weak interlayer interfaces and results in a mechanically robust structure with uniform pore geometry. After sintering, the filter material is formed into a cylindrical configuration and welded to ensure excellent roundness, flatness, and sealing performance. An additional rolling seam welding process further enhances dimensional accuracy, allowing the filter element to maintain consistent performance under pressure and temperature fluctuations.
The porous structure of the sintered filter element combines surface filtration and depth filtration mechanisms. Interlaced metal pores provide smooth flow channels with low resistance while efficiently capturing contaminants within the three-dimensional matrix. Compared with conventional wire mesh filters, sintered porous elements exhibit higher mechanical strength and more stable filtration accuracy. At the same time, they overcome the brittleness and limited durability of ceramic or powder-based filters.
Manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel or titanium, sintered porous filter elements are capable of operating across an exceptionally wide temperature range, from cryogenic conditions to extreme high-temperature environments.
