The multi-layer configuration enables functional differentiation within the filter media. Coarser support layers provide structural reinforcement and resistance to deformation, while finer filtration layers define the effective pore size and control particle retention. This graded structure results in stable filtration accuracy across the entire element and minimizes the risk of pore collapse or migration during pressure fluctuations.
Once sintered, the filter media is formed into a cylindrical element. Both ends are fully welded to ensure leak-tight performance and mechanical integrity. A rolling seam welding process is applied along the longitudinal joint to enhance roundness, concentricity, and surface flatness. This precision forming method ensures consistent fit within filter housings and reliable sealing under high-pressure operation.
The interconnected three-dimensional pore network allows fluids or gases to pass through with low flow resistance while effectively capturing contaminants within the depth of the filter.
